Well, now…this is an honor. My first day on the job, and I already get to post on the Community Blog!
I was given the task of introducing myself to everyone, so I’ll try my best to do that without being too wordy. (Just remember that I said I’d try.) 
Hello fellow players and blog readers! My name is Tiffany, henceforth known as Amnerys (am-NAIR-iss), and I am thrilled to be a new Community Relations Rep here at SOE. I’ve been with the company for about 18 months, working behind the scenes in the Marketing Department until today. But long before that I was an EverQuest player, and most recently an EQ2 player. The transition to the Community Dept. just seemed natural to me once I started working here and got to know more about the team. I was just waiting for the right opportunity to open up…and here I am!
Some of you may have seen me around at Fan Faire in ‘06 or ‘07, at last summer’s Block Party or at the Influencer’s Summit in March.
Let’s see…other random tidbits that might or might not be interesting, in no particular order… I have a BA in journalism, minor in music. I met my husband on a BBS, way back when. (He works at SOE, also.) I used to work for Disney, both in a mall store and at Walt Disney World. I’m a hugemongous Harry Potter geek. I lived in England as a kid (my dad was Air Force) and saw a lot of Europe. I’ve been a graphic designer, PR person, marketing assistant, day camp counselor, lifeguard, data entry person, and mini-golf employee. I like to sing, a lot. I love Junior Mints! Did I mention that I like Harry Potter? And Star Wars, Star Trek, Pirates, Lost, Heroes… I could go on, but I’ll stop.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone on the message boards and out on the road. Safe journeys and I’ll see you at Fan Faire and Gen Con!
